Two basic kinds of Buddingh Weeders was invented back in the 1950's. There is the rubber finger Weeder that weeds in the row around a plant with a little stiffness in the stem and about 12 inches each side. The other kind of Buddingh Weeder is the wire basket weeder for weeding between the rows and depends on row spacing and number of rows and tractor mounting for its design and size.
